Bhavdeep Jaipurwale, grandson of the legendary Hindustani vocalist Late Gunigandharva Pt. Laxmanprasad Jaipurwale & son of Late Pt. Govindprasad Jaipurwale of the Kunwar Shyam Goswami Gharana, renowned for it’s chhand-prabhand dhrupad – ang layakari in khayal gayaki.Born on 19th January 1966, Bhavdeep was initiated into the realms of Hinduatani classical music by his illustrious grandfather at the tender age of 8 years.He further received rigorous training under his renowned father for 15 years. He also had the privilege of learning the nuances of light classical music under the guidance of his maternal uncle late Pt. Madan Prakashji and late Pt. Hazarilalji. The training still continues under his paternal uncle Pt. Girdharprasad Jaipurwale and Gayanacharya Pt. RAjaram Shukla.

Bestowed with a mellifluous voice, which transcends in three octaves, Bhavdeep sings khayal, thumri, tappa, bhajan and ghazal with equal ease and panache hence making him a truly versatile artist. His performance at once captivates the hearts and minds of the listeners. He has traveled extensively throughout India and abroad.He Has given solo performances in major music festivals of the country and received rave reviews from musical geniuses such as Sangeet Martand Pt. Jasraj, Smt (Dr.) Prabha Atre, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Maestro L. Subramanium, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Sultan Khan, Pt. Ronu Majumdar, Shri Jagjit Singh, Shri Pankaj Udhas to name a few.

Bhavdeep is also a very fine composer and has composed music for several films, TV serials and audio cassettes. Despite a busy schedule as a singer and a composer, Bhavdeep finds time to teach many aspiring singers.
