Dr. Ramesh Tagde is one of the leading violin artists from central India.Dr. Tagde started his “swara gyana” stage from his musician father late Shri Vishvanathrao Tagde. Further his great guru Late PadmaBhushan Pt. Vishnu Govind Jog taken him as his novice and then Dr. Ramesh Tagde started a musical journey of “Riyaz”. All Musical lessons right from presentation of expression of purity of raga, performing tips to style of playing were given by Panditji and after learning and practicing the art of Heart; Dr. Tagde started expressing his knack for music world. Till now he has performed to the various parts of India.

Dr. Ramesh Tagde is a type of personality who is fully devoted towards the practice, performance, development and research in the field of violin. His name and working for Indian classical music is mentioned in various music magazines and papers.As he is having a very good record of performances, he is also known as a very good accompanist and played with his guru Pt. V.G. Jog, Pt. Gajananrao Joshi and Pt. Gokulostavji Maharaj etc.

He is having a special achievment to perform for his guru for :Pratishthit Kalidas Sammaan Samaroh”. As Panditji was not able to perform due to illness and he choose Dr. Tagde to perform on his behalf of him.Dr. Tagde is a regular artist for Aakashvani and Doordarshan.
