Born in a music loving family of Mulund(Mumbai). Vibhavari is one of the most gifted and accomplished vocalists of Kirana Gharana of the present generation today.She has already been acclaimed as a worthy torch bearer of the rich Kirana Gharana heritage, established by Late Gayan Samrat Abdul Karim khan Sahib. Mrs.vibhavari has completed her graduation from Bombay University in art Faculty and is Sangeet Alankar of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya. She is B high graded artist of The All India Radio Mumbai.

Vibhavari who is gifted with a commendabale fluency in voice renders"ragas" technically perfect and pure as also with rare imagination, renders "Thumari" and other light semi classical songs with ease and melody.She has sweet and pliable voice with good qualities like sur lagav, boltan, laykari. Her correct insight in the beauties of form and structure in each of her ragas carves a niche in the hearts of her listeners. She has contributed some compositions in classical and semi-classical music which tend to be popular. Her versality besides her mastery over the Khayal, is examplay in her singing of bhjans, Abhangs, Marathi Natya Sangeet etc. Vibhavari has been accliaimed as one of the most promising talents on the scene of Hindustani Classical Music, therefore , it is hardly a surprise that Vibhavari pulls a sizeable audience to her concerts.

Vibhavari is honoured with The Senior Artist fellowship by The Ministery of Human Resource Department of Culture, Government of India For the year 1999-2000 She had been felicitated by Pt. Feroz Dastur with Parundekar Smriti Puraskar at Sawai Gandharva Music Festival 2004
