Saylee Talwalkar is a young, talented, promising and upcoming artist of this generation. She started her musical journey of classical vocal at the age of seven from her first guru Smt. Usha Deshpande of Kirana Gharana. For last few years she is taking lessons from world renowned classical vocalist Smt. Arti Ankalikar-Tikekar.

Saylee is a B.Com graduate from H R College of commerce. She has been awarded by “Chattrottam Sugam Sangeet Patu” by the Education department Mumbai and “Surmani” by Sur Singar Sansad in 2002. She is also winner in many inter school and college competitions like Malharostav of St. Xaviers, Mood Indigo of I I T Powai college, Umang of N.M. College and Kaleidoscope of Sophia College. She is a winner with 1st place at All India inter University youth Festival at Warangal – Andhra Pradesh.

Recently she got Government of India Scholarship in Classical vocal for 2 years (2005-2007). She is also winner at many renowned competitions in Classical vocal like, Dadar Matunga Cultural Center, Sharda Sangeeta Vidyalaya, Kayan Gayan Samaj, Swar Sadhana Samiti.
