Shubha Joshi is a well known name in the field of Indian Classical Music as well as Light Classical . She is a singer of famous Bhindi Bazar Gharana. Shubha received her initial training under Pt. Pandurang Ambekar, Pt. Ramesh Nadkarni. She has refined her knowledge under Master Navarang and Ustad Taj Ahmed Khan. Shubha completed her Post Graduation in music with 1st Class from SNDT Bombay.Shubha’s Classical music training beautified with light music training from Smt. Shubha Gurtu, Ninu Mujumdar, Kaumudi Munshi and Ustad Taj Ahmad Khan.

Shubha has done playback singing under famous music Director Shri Jaydev Shri Jagjeet Singh, Vanraj Bhatia, Ashok Patki, Ram Kadam, shivhari, Sapan Jagmohan, A Rehman.. She explored her singing in some famous films like Suraj ka Satawa Ghoda, Kalka, Aakrit, saheban, Tum Lout Aao.

There are many prestigious conference of Classical Music in her credits. Sawai Gnadhrava Sammelan (Pune and Kundgol), Pt. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar Punyatithi (Delhi), Some other places like ujjain, Indore, Rajkot, Amravati, Ichalkaranji, Hong Kong, Africa.

Her Flavour of Gazal can be feel in some TV Serials, Jan –e-Aalam, Buniyad, Amanat, Ajnabee, Discovery of India, Gazals Special Poggramme gazal ke saye. Shyam-e-gazal Mehfil. Shubha has the specilisation in classical music like thumri, dadra, khayal gayaki, as well as Bhajan.
